Helen Devos Children’s Hospital Pediatric Ophthalmology Donation

In the month of June, 10% of all sales will be donated to Devos Children’s Hospital Pediatric

Ophthalmology department. We are excited about this opportunity!

When choosing a recipient to donate to this month, we at Optical Outfitter looked right in our

back yard! The Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI is one of about 250 hospitals in

the U.S. that exclusively treats children.

In speaking with Jim Steenbergen, a Senior Foundation Specialist at the hospital, we learned

there were a few opportunities for us to help. “We care for infants and children that often need

glasses frames that insurance may not cover. Having the ability to donate frames to a child in

need is very appreciated.” We decided that a cash donation fit their need and our want to help.
